Jul. 20—A man jumped out of his vehicle after he was shot on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway in Linthicum early Wednesday morning, according to Maryland State Police.
The 21-year-old was driving a gold-colored Acura TLX and heading southbound on the parkway at about 2:45 a.m. Wednesday when he was shot by someone driving a gray Nissan Armada, state police said in a news release. Police have not arrested a suspect.
After being shot at least once, the man jumped out of his vehicle, which continued moving and exited the parkway, crossing West Nursery Road before hitting a guardrail at an on-ramp across the road, police said.
The 21-year-old was transported to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Police did not immediately say what condition he was in Wednesday morning.
The incident closed the parkway's southbound exit ramp to West Nursery Road until 8:20 a.m.
Those with information on this case are asked to contact the state police's Glen Burnie Barrack at 410-761-5130.
