Historic Huron River bridges near Ann Arbor closing for rehabilitation work

WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI - Rehabilitation work on two wrought-iron bridges across the Huron River dating back to the late 1800s is slated to get underway on July 6, closing the structures to all traffic.

The metal truss bridges at East Delhi Road in Scio Township and Maple Road in Ann Arbor Township, both along Huron River Drive, will receive a new coat of paint and other maintenance work this summer, thanks to a Washtenaw County Road Commission project.
