A crash in Midtown Anchorage on Thursday morning left a semitrailer on its side and downed a traffic light pole that was blocking C Street.

Minor injuries were reported in the crash between the truck and another vehicle near West Northern Lights Boulevard at 9:04 a.m., police wrote in a statement.

The fallen traffic light pole blocked all lanes of C Street. Debris from the crash surrounded it.

No pedestrians were injured, but it wasn’t immediately known if there were any people in the area when the crash occurred, police spokeswoman Renee Oistad said. The cause of the crash had not been determined, Oistad said.
