Driver killed when SUV strikes guardrail on South Jersey highway - nj.com

A South Jersey man died early Friday in a one-vehicle crash on a state highway in Gloucester County.

Javier Sanchez, 47, of Pittsgrove Township, was driving south on Route 55 in Franklin Township around 1 a.m. when his SUV left the roadway to the right side and struck a guardrail, according to a New Jersey State Police spokesman.

Sanchez died as a result of the crash, police said.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
